Founder & Lead Singer
Debi Hall
Debi founded The Honky Tonk Angels back in 2016, when her love of country music and singing finally collided.
Debi has sung around the world on theatre and arena tours for over 15 years, having performed with a variety of shows and bands. She has also worked as a session singer, lending her vocals to a variety of styles, including pop, jazz and of course, country. She even starred on an online TV show titled with her own name and has had radio airplay for her country original work.
Her love of country music has shone through and building the Honky Tonk Angels to what it is today, is by far, her greatest love and achievement. With many more years to come!

Dance Caller / Backing Singer
Chloe Hunter
Chloe has toured the world as a singer, dancer and compere since leaving The Hammond School in Chester, where she also qualified as a professional dance teacher.
Her experience is vast, ranging from high kicks to high notes, from show tunes to folk, from festivals to Westend speakeasys and even airplay.
Chloe brings her wit, love for harmonies, skilled moves and fun line dance instructing to the shows, not forgetting her skills on percussion and bass guitar.
She enjoys a wide range of music genres and country music has been a main focus for the last 10 years.

Guitarist
Alex C
Alex is a versatile guitarist with experience across theatre pits, live stages and studio sessions. Alex has built a career supporting a wide range of musical projects. In addition to performing, he contributes to recording projects and has worked extensively in music education.

Guitarist
John Worth
John has been performing for over 20 years. Over the course of his career he has developed a versatile style, performing across an extensive range of genres including jazz, Latin, rock, blues, soul, reggae, hip-hop, pop, and of course country.
Some career highlights include collaborating and performing with T. M. Stevens (James Brown, Steve Vai), Laurence Cottle (Eric Clapton, Seal, Van Morrison), Chris Hargreaves of Submotion Orchestra.
John is also an accomplished composer and musical director. He writes music for a 1,000-strong choir and band at the Southbank Centre. He is deeply involved in music education and community projects, including a prison music programme and a unique project creating an orchestra made up of people experiencing homelessness.

Guitarist
Paul Bond
Paul's experience is vast, to say the least, having received his first record deal at 18. He has toured globally with various acts and was a member of Red Box, known for hits like "Lean on Me" and "For America." Early on, he fell in love with the recording process, now runs his own recording studio. He has engineered, produced and mastered albums for a diverse range of artists, from jazz to metal.
Since 2017, Paul has been closely associated with Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds, contributing as an engineer and musician to various projects.
Paul balances a busy career as a session musician for many household names and producer. He also lectures on the MA course in Audio Production at the University of Westminster in London.

Keyboards / Sound Tech
Colin Willsher
Colin has been performing and composing for over 20 years. Some highlights include over 250 compositions for international broadcasters such as BBC, ITV, Discovery Channel and Sky.
Performing credits include playing in Monaco during Grand Prix week, Abu Dhabi on New Year's Eve and many more prestigious events around the world and in London's West End.
Outside of performing, Colin also runs the music department at Solent University.

Bass Guitarist
Massimo (Max) Avellano
Max has been playing bass professionally for as long as he can remember. His passion has taken him worldwide - including touring with a well known German country band for many years. He has contributed to various studio sessions as well as live gigging.
Alongside performing, Max is also a bass teacher, which he loves doing.

Drummer
Keith Wickham
Keith is a percussionist, drummer, and educator. A graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire of Music, he has performed in orchestras, theatres, on cruise ships, and with both original and cover bands at venues across the UK and the world, including the Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Festival Hall. As part of his original band, he toured with The Script, Juliette Lewis, and Ocean Colour Scene, performed at Glastonbury, and headlined the Secret Garden Party Festival.
Alongside his performing career, Keith is also a passionate educator, dedicated to teaching and inspiring pupils.

Johanna Burnheart
Johanna is a versatile violinist known for bringing warmth, energy and lyrical improvisation to the stage. With a background spanning jazz, classical and folk, her playing blends expressive melodies with rich textures that complement the heart of a country sound.

Fiddle Player
Ellie Pensom
Ellie is a versatile fiddle player performing across country, folk, jazz and classical music. Equally comfortable on stage or in a studio, she brings expressive melodies, rhythmic drive and authentic fiddle character to every performance.
Based in the South West of England, Ellie works with artists and bands to create distinctive fiddle parts that add depth, texture and energy to recordings and live shows.

Backing Singer / Dance Caller
Georgia Lee
Georgia started dancing at the age of 2 and soon fell in love with all genres of performing. This led to her gaining a diploma in dance and teaching qualifications with Distinction.
Her career has been vast, from the finest cruise liners, as a dancer, vocalist and choreographer, to film & TV.
Outside of performing, Georgia directs and produces theatre productions around the UK. She also loves teaching dance to the younger generation, inspiring confidence, ambition and the joy of the entertainment industry to all children.

Garry Lanes
Garry has been a lover of film since the age of 12, when he got his first camera. In the early days, he would spend his spare time taking and developing photos in a darkroom.
His career has spanned from underwater diving with state of the art underwater cameras to making videos for weddings and corporate events. Now mostly working for The Honky Tonk Angels, his love of country music and camera work have finally collided.
